Each of us, in our own way, became leaders, highly service-oriented, and civic-minded in our work and life. Dolly noted that Nick brought many midshipmen to the USNA as an admissions officer and was an Architect of the Admissions program. Nick worked to process about 264,000 applications and helped to admit more than 25,000 to the academy Additionally, he was in charge of the plebe class who came in every year (see Figure 26)
